Nehru Gram Bharati University was established in 1996 by the G.D. Memorial Trust. The foundation stone of the university was laid by the late Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru the then Prime Minister of India. It has a vibrant campus of 25 acres. The university has more than 100 faculty members. The campus of the university is located in Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh. Nehru Gram Bharati University (NGBU) offers a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs. Nehru Gram Bharati University Ph.D. Admission Procedure

Admission to the Ph.D. programme is based on the entrance test conducted by the university and followed by the interview. Candidates who have qualified the GATE/NET or passed the M.Phil. Degree in the concerned subject are exempted from the entrance examination. However, such candidates will be selected on the basis of interview.
