PhD NUTRITIONAL
SCIENCE ADMISSION PROCESS:
Admission to the PhD programme shall be based on the
candidate marks obtained in the entrance test conducted by the respective
department of school of the particular or each university or college. Those
students who have complete their GATE or NET or SET/ M.Phil Examination in the
pertinent subjects of the apex bodies as CSIR/UGC/ICAR/ICMR will be exempt from
the Entrance Test. While giving the exemption, the Departmental Committee of
the university may be consider research work or earlier PhD or experience done
by the candidate. If a candidate already holds the Doctor of degree in the
relevant subject from the UGC Approved Universities or Colleges, he or she may
be exempted from entrance exam and pre PhD coursework. After clearing the both
steps the candidate will be eligible to pay the course fee or registration fee.
Only the predetermined number of candidate may be admitted to PhD programme of
Nutritional Science.
