Shri Guru Teg Bahadur College of Education was founded in the year 2006 by the Guru Teg Bahadur Educational Trust. The campus of the college is located in Malerkotla, Distt. Sangrur, Punjab. The main mission of the college is to pursue excellence in the field of education. The Prime motto of the college is to impart Quality Education to the students and to produce the skill teachers as well as better citizens of the country. The college is affiliated to Punjabi University, Patiala, approved by NCTE, Jaipur and accredited by NAAC Grade ‘B’. SGTB College of Education has 200 seats for B.Ed and 25 seats for MA Education.

SGTB College of Education invites applications for admission to the NCTE and SCERT Approved B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) for the academic session 2018-19. Interested candidates can register themselves by submitting a duly filled in application form along with required processing fees and attested photocopies of all required documents in college admission office on or before the last specified date.
