On 1st of July, 1927 Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University was established. Dr L.P. Mathur, Lala Dewan Chand, Rev. Canon A.W. Davis, Rai Bahadur Anand Swaroop, Dr Brajendra Swaroop, Munshi Narain Prasad Asthana are some of the names by whom hectic efforts university was laid. In starting there were only four faculties Commerce, Arts, Sciences and Law but now university has Home Science (1980), Basic Sciences (1981), Faculties of Medicine (1936), Agriculture (1938) and Management (1994).

Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University MBA course
- MBA Full Time : 2 years
- MBA Part Time : 3 years
- Eligibility: Candidate should have Bachelors' degree (10+2+3 pattern) in any discipline or any other degree from a recognized University. Candidate should have to clear the Entrance Test for admission into MBA program. Candidate will be selected on the base of Entrance Examination, Group Discussion and Final Interview. Candidate should have to appear in the Common Aptitude Test (CAT) / Common Management Admission Test (C-MAT) / Management Aptitude Test (MAT).
Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University Admission Rules
- Online Application: Admission procedure is online and application-form is available on the www.dbrau.org.in. University website.
- Registration of courses : Candidate can register themselves for admission to the various courses. Candidate should have to click on ' click here for register for online enrollment and put their user name , email and password. After this they can choose the course and submit their registration and upload documents. For general candidates, candidate have to pay a fee Rs. 1000=00 and Rs. 700=00 for SC/ST.
- Payment of fees: Candidate can pay fees both offline or online mode of payment. Candidate can pay fee by UPI, Wallets, Net-Banking, Credit Card, Debit Card. Candidate can pay fee by deposited the challan in the account of university or DD in the favor of university.
- Application Rejection: Application will be rejected if it is Received without required fees, Incomplete application, Received with Invalid documents , Received after last date
- Clearance of medical test: Candidate should have to submit a document of medical fitness.
Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University Reservation and Concession
20% of the seats in different courses are reserved for Scheduled Castes & Scheduled Tribes. In which 12% seats are for Scheduled Tribes and 8% seats are for Scheduled Castes. Certificate are necessary for reservation in these reserved categories. Certificate should be issued by a Revenue Officer not below the rank of a Tahasildar. For physically disabled/challenged candidates One seat in each course having 24 seats or more shall be reserved.
